The novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen seems to be quite interesting yet somewhat long and drawn out to a point, in my opinion. The novel contains numerous interesting characters, such as Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy, who bring amusement to the novel with Elizabeth's intelligence and sharp tongue, and Darcy's pride and honest personalities. Pride and the Prejudice really brings across the fact that there are many persons who have a high amount of pride, and some tend to be a bit too prejudiced. This is shown in the novel with Miss Bingley, Charles Bingley's very snobbish sister. I believe that Miss Bingley is an excellent example of where the qualities of both Pride and Prejudice are found within the story. She displays inordinate disdain for Elizabeth's middle- class background, making it clear that she is prejudice since she is discriminating her because of her class.
